Main Street Steamboat and The Steamboat Spring Chamber encourage you to celebrate the 4th safely with us this year. We are introducing the Great American Picnic. Make an amazing spread, or order a meal for your family from one of our participating restaurants. Many restaurants are offering specials and adult beverages to go. Have your picnic at home or in one of our local parks. Alcohol restrictions have been lifted and you are able to consume an adult beverage responsibly in most parks that do not cater to children. Take some photos of you celebrating, following health department guidelines. Post to Social Media and #Steamboatsnap and your photos may be featured in the Steamboat Today and Pilot or on their website.

Everything on the menu at Moe’s, including Haul-It-Home Family Packs are available for take-out. You can call ahead or visit us to order. And remember you can order a cold beer to go!

Johnny B’s is offering 3 picnic packages for the Holiday. The Small Picnic serves 2 and is $19.99 and includes 2 8″ Hoagies with thinly sliced Turkey, roast beef or Ham, lettuce, Cheddar cheese, and onion, along with an 8 oz coleslaw, 2 apples, 2 bags of chips and 2 homemade cookies. The Medium Picnic is $49.99 and is for 4 people. The Large Picnic serves 6 and is $59.99. All menu items can be ordered for take out. Don’t forget to order a slice of pie and an Adult Milkshake to go!
Mountain Tap Brewery offers their entire menu TO GO and has picnic area to-boot!! Grab a pizza and a Growler of local beer for your picnic. As a special surprise for your family, bring home some Spring Hash. Checkout the menu to see what it is. You will love it!
8th Street Steak House has a great picnic / grill / camp special that starts at $22/person and includes their house salad, choice of entree, side dish and dessert! They also offer a $10 top shelf Martini / Margarita / Manhattan / old fashion that includes a 16 oz stainless steel shaker to go as well! Checkout the website for kids meals and other offerings.
Most items on the Old Town Pub’s classic American Menu are available for Take Out. Try the Mac & Cheese, it’s our favorite!
A Skull Creek Greek Family Picnic will easily feed 4 people and includes, a Family size Greek Salad, 1 pound of Gyro Meat, 4 Grilled Pitas,Skull Creek signature Tzatziki, Lettuce Tomato onion, and 4 pieces of homemade Baklava. $45 gets you a complete meal including tax. Please order by Friday night. It’s a pretty busy weekend and you don’t want to miss out:-)
Mazzola’s has been serving pizza and Authentic Italian food to locals since 1970. Their entire menu is available for take out. Pizza and Beer is an easy way to celebrate, but if you want to treat yourself,get the Chicken Parm. Its super yummy!!
Salt and Lime is a local favorite for Tacos and Marg’s. You can order the Taco Fiesta Taco Bar to go for $55. You can choose 2 meats from their menu of 5, Chicken Tinga is our favorite, plus chips and salsa and all the fixings. Or, if you want something a little more fancy, get the Enchiladas for 4 people. Check out Rex’s BBQ lunch to go, or order a few apps for your picnic. The Beef Brisket Melt is perfect for the 4th of July. Team that up with some Crunchy Slaw and Shoestring Fries and you have a flavor party! We recommend a Root beer float while you are waiting, because it’s not the 4th of July without one! They are open from 2pm-4pm for BBQ so call ahead to order.

Steamboat Winery has great picnic wines to accompany your local fare! Grab a cold Rose’ or Sauvignon Blanc at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday to enjoy in the park, or call for free in town delivery of any of their delicious whites or reds!
