Free self-guided tour of local art galleries, museums and alternative venues in downtown Steamboat Springs.

These businesses remain open the first Friday of every month for this favorite event of locals and visitors alike. Many offer changing exhibits, so there is something new to see each month. Free to the public, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Refreshments are served.

Jace Romick Gallery

The R-Diamond Collection focuses on the exhibition and sale of western contemporary art. The R-Diamond Gallery, which is located inside the Jace Romick Gallery, hosts quarterly exhibitions, special events and a provides year-round presence to the Steamboat Springs fine art community. Nozcaboose Artist in Residence

The Caboose Artist Studio Residency program, which launched in summer 2020, provides local artists a place to create without the burden of high rent for a dedicated work space. The residency takes place in Steamboat Creates’ NozCaboose, named after the graffiti mural characters called Nozcos that wrap around the outside of the caboose train car.
